Line for line, my paradise. . .
Okay, I'm so sorry... I promised you London pics but here is nothing. But I have to post soooo many other things I did last week.
1. Inkheart
I got Inkheart by Cornelia Funke last monday and started reading immediately. I finished it last night and I loooooooooooooooooved it. It was so amazing. I couldn't put it away. I read day and night.
I fell in love with Dustfinger after the first lines. He is such an amazing and a very sad character. I felt so sorry for him in the end. But during the whole book I couldn't get away from imagining Paul Bettany for this role. He is the perfect choice. I'm really looking foward the movie now.
Tonight I will start reading Inkspell, the sequel. Unfortunately the third book - Inkdeath - will only be released in October. OMG, how am I going to survive that? I know how. . . by reading "Angels & Demons" during the summer.
Inkheart also brought back my creativity. I wrote a little Dustfinger/Resa OneShot. I know, I know, you will probably say that Resa belongs to Silvertongue but I din't like him anymore since I've learned that Brendan Fraser is going to play his role *ew*
And I made a Dustfinger set:
And the OneShot: Dreams & Fairies
2. The Malice Box
Another book I finished a week ago. It was a great story, good thriller. I liked the characters. But why. . . why did Adam had to die? Why? Okay, he was evil in the end but please. . . There could've been a cure or something. And I loved the little chapters "A Martyr's Love Song". They showed the world in the eyes of a terrorist. The weird thing is that I could understand his ways.
And that leads to my next point...
3. My Obsession
What else did I do? I wrote, of course. No, no new chapter for Sympathy for the Demon. But something Carlo-related. I wrote a little OneShot called A Martyr's Love Song (yeah, I stole the title from TMB). I tried to describe Carlo's thoughts and feelings and I thought it was good, so I didn't put it into "Requiem".
The very essence of being a martyr is to die once the mission is fulfilled. . .
Okay. I get it. . . I will shut up for now.
